with their partly gold & silver heightened colored coats of arms

as vignettes at the upper edge (c. 1⅝-2 × 2¾-3½ in [4-5 × 7-9 cm]). Contemp. h. calf with leather corners and richly gilt-tooled back decoration.

which already one year later had to be followed by a new edition and to which today’s paperbacks unchangeably pay reverence to. – Partially appearing quite faint traces of browning and hardly noteworthy corner & edge bumps of the binding optically advantageously brightened at the decorative back aside practically impeccable copy as occurring seldom only. Here then in addition of ducal Bavarian provenance with their library label “933” below at the back. – Printed by Gustave Gratiot, Rue de la Monnaie.
