among these i. a. 4 studies to the Battle of Anghiari, two each to Natività, Sant’ Anna (Louvre), Ecce Homo, Uomo Vitruviano, three attributed studies to Cenacolo as well as technical drafts.

Further 33 works by Ambrogio De Predis – Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio – Francisco Napoletano (published for the first time) – Marco da Oggiono (5, 2 of them first time) – Giampietrino – Agostino da Vaprio – Andrea Solario (5, 1 of them first time) – Cesare da Sesto (9) – Francesco Melzi (4, possibly 7) as well as two anonymous copies from the Anatomical Studies. Finally 13 (9 first time) mostly anonymous sheet by copyists, imitators and followers of Leonardo’s from the 16th/17th till 19th centuries. – With concordance.

The introduction by Carlo Pedretti on the collection and its history as well as the attribution methods, stylistic features and the chronology of the drawings. Further six short treatises on specific aspects of the collection. – The catalogue of the drawings by Nepi Sciré and Annalisa Perissa Torrini. – With complete bibliography, alphabetical index and index of the watermarks.
