(Early Travels and Voyages in Original Reports) 8. – Jacket a little worn, otherwise as new. – After an apprenticeship as barber and years of travel in Electoral Palatinate, Brun (1590-1668) sailed from 1611 as surgeon aboard various ships to New and Upper Guinea resp., the Gold Coast, and Syria. 1621 he returned to Basel, where he died after two marriages and numerous offices.
