VII-8 with a slight little dog’s ear below, isolated pressure marks in the paper. In the white upper margin now and then weak amber little spot, in few cases also multiplied appearing. Binding edges somewhat rubbed, the spine at the capitals slightly faulty, otherwise in perfect condition.

Six pencil annotations. – Editor from now on Hans Vollmer, in the preface complaining the “disfavorable times (of inflation)” by cessation “of every material aid from public or private means”, in this manner the burden imposing quite on the shoulders of the publishers” E. A. Seemann (since vol. V), whom, after 1945 in the communist east part of Germany dispossessed without compensation and in the western part new established, federal republican expropriation-“right” lasting up to presence not even allowed the priority of distribution of his own former publishing production within the free democratic part of Germany. – Spine at one side completely, at the other partly cracked (pasted), inside in perfect condition.
